This section is intended as a reference for explaining certain fundamental concepts in physics which must be grasped in order to have a basic understanding of various topics in climatology, particularly various aspects of the greenhouse effect as it relates to the role of radiation, heat transport, water vapor and so on. However, this is principally a reference to be used as needed, acting as a supplementary for that part of this website which explains the topics in climatology itself.
